Every child and youth has the opportunity to star on stage through our programs. They learn how to follow scripts, memorize lines, follow cues, learn stage presence, and how to build each other up.
Each student performs with confidence to help others learn about Jesus.
LATE SEPTEMBER-EARLY DECEMBER
Each year, students present a fun-loving musical that reveals the reason we celebrate Christmas: the birth of Jesus. There's a combination of acting, singing, and dancing to bring the show together. Stage hands work behind the scenes to help change set design.
There are two performances:
Saturday Evening followed by community dinner
Sunday Morning followed by cast reception
Students prepare to lead a Family Worship Service that talks about the death and resurrection of Jesus, and why that matters. In the past they have presented Boomwhackers, Lyrical Dances, Hip Hip Dances, Acapella Songs, and Drama. The worship is lead by the Youth Worship Team and the message is presented by the Children's + Youth Staff.
There is one service:
Good Friday followed by cast and community dinner
